Women's Studies Advisory Committee
The WS Advisory Committee (WSPAC) serves as the voting body to set policy and priorities for the Department of Women's Studies (including both undergraduate and graduate programs), approves changes in curriculum, and recommends appointments to the permanent faculty. This Advisory Committee, originally established to set policy related to the Interdepartmental Degree Program in Women's Studies, will remain in place through Fall 2008 to complete the faculty appointments currently in process for the Department of Women's Studies. Effective January 1, 2009, the Women's Studies Departmental Faculty Committee will be appointed to set policy and procedures. Ex officio members are invited by WS to act as liaisons to affiliated groups and organizations.
